Privacy statement

While you are only reading, this site records nothing about you. If you fill in the questionnaire we keep your answers and your contact details, because otherwise we cannot get back to you.

Last updated 1 September 2026.

Who we are

SPANdesign BV, Ringbaan Oost 94, 5013 CD Tilburg, the Netherlands. Telephone 013 52 11 087, email info@spandesign.nl.

We decide what happens to the data that reaches us through this site, and you can hold us to that.

What we keep

Only what you fill in yourself on the contact page, plus a few technical fields that belong to that submission.

  • Your name, company, email address and telephone number.
  • Your answers about the room, the type of building, the stage of the project and the timeline.
  • The score the site gives your request and the reason behind it, so we can see why a request comes out high or low and correct it if it is wrong.
  • The page you sent the questionnaire from, and the time.
  • An encrypted form of your IP address. That encryption only works one way, so we cannot recover an address from it. It is there to stop anyone sending the form hundreds of times in a row.
  • Your consent, and the moment you gave it.

What we use it for

To answer your request and prepare a proposal. Nothing else.

We do not sell your data on and we do not send a newsletter you did not ask for.

Where the data is stored

The database is hosted by Fly.io in Amsterdam.

The email and the text message we receive about your request go through two American providers, so those two messages do leave the European Union. They process the data only on our instructions and do not use it for themselves.

  • Resend, for the email that brings your request to us.
  • Twilio, for the message we get on the phone so a request does not sit unanswered.

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no cookies. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no chat widget. The typeface is served from our own server, so nothing is requested from anyone else for that either.

Our web server does keep ordinary technical logs, as every web server does, and those contain the IP address of a request. We use those logs to find faults, not to follow visitors.

How long we keep it

We keep a request for as long as we are in conversation with you about the project, and for two years after that so we can find an old proposal. Then we delete it.

If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will.

What you can ask for

Send an email to info@spandesign.nl and we will reply within a month. You can ask us to:

  • show you what data we hold about you,
  • correct a mistake,
  • delete your data,
  • give you your data in a readable file,
  • stop using it.

If you disagree with what we do, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
